Came Here In Early Day
Elizabeth Fording

Mrs. Elizabeth Fording Answers Final Summons At Her Home In Ohio.

Miss Sue I. Wehr received a message on Monday conveying the sad news of the death of her sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Fording. The deceased was the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Wehr. She came here at an early day from Pennsylvania with her parents when only a young girl. After her marriage she made her home in Ohio. During these years she had made several visits at the old home here and had renewed old friendships and made new friends who hold her in loving remembrance. The blow falls especially hard on the sister, Miss Wehr, who resides in the old home. She was unable to be present at the funeral owing to the severe winter weather, her health not permitting the journey. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to her in her hour of bereavement. One other sister, Mrs. Mary Ehred resides in Iowa City.
