Deena House has set up a site for alumni of Urbana. This is the
information that she has provided about the site.
It's named the Urbana alumni site...(Hometown friends)...it is for
persons who lived and/or went to
school in Urbana. They can make a connection with anyone who is a
member, free of charge. They can
e-mail or snail mail each other, find out where their friends/school
mates are and what they are
doing.
There is a history section, and I'm sharing the history of the school,
town etc. My goal is to be
very active with this site and make it as interesting as possible.
There is a photo section, where
they can upload photos to share. It also has a calendar, and I thought
this might be a way of
planning some alumni reunions.
Anyone who is interested can e-mail me and I will send them an invitation
from the site right away.
