Portrait and Biographical Album of Benton County, Iowa

JOSEPH A. WHEELER, proprietor of livery, feed and sale stable, Belle Plaine, is the successor to John Caldwell. Our subject was born in Iowa County, Iowa, Feb. 8, 1863, and is the son of Henry and Catharine Wheeler. He came to Belle Plaine July 1, 1885, and engaged in his present business. Mr. Wheeler keeps a good supply of fine horses and rigs, is prompt and attentive to customers, and is doing a prosperous business. His stables are located on the east side of Beech street, between First and Second.
