BARBER.--We take pleasure in making favorable mention of this gentleman. Mr. Stafford landed in Audubon May 9, 1879, and can, therefore, be termed one of our pioneers. He came from Muscatine county, Iowa, and engaged in his present business. He owns a fine three-chair shop. Seventeen years experience in his chosen profession enables him to comprehend the right treatment of customers. Mr. Stafford is happily endowed with a disposition which never fails to make him agreeable to all and win him the friendship of those with whom he has business transactions. He is an enthusiastic promoter of every enterprise intended to advance the interests of his town, and a truly worthy citizen. He is a member of the I. O. O. F., I. O. R. M. and K. G. E. orders.
