CARRIAGE MANUFACTURER AND BLACKSMITH.--Among the meritorious business houses that have added greatly to the prosperity of our city, much is due to the business segacity [sic sagacity] of the gentleman whose name heads this article. Aggressive and pushing to a more than usual degree, he has by his efforts won a substantial recognition at the hands of the public, as his large trade will confirm. Mr. Pound is a native of Prince Edward Island, Canada. He came to America in 1881, locating at Audubon. In 1884 he engaged in his present business. His establishment, a large two story brick building on Washington street, is one of life and activity, where five first-class mechanics are continually kept busy turning out fine carriages and wagons. He is a citizen worthy of the confidence of all and deserving of success.
