CHARLES ISHAM.

Floral Divider Bar

HOTEL.--Mr. Isham's residence here dates from 1881. Has been engaged in his present business two years. He is a native of Morris, Ill. Since his residence here he has taken great interest in fast horses, and owns the fastest team in the county. Among the most noted horses in his stable, is the celebrated trotting stallion, Orvie C., 8702, record 2:36; by Strader, 673, own brother to Will Cullender, 2:19, and Clay Davis, 2:31. Orvie C. has shown his ability to trot in 2:30 or better, has never had a season's training, and we predict, if given a chance he will go below 2:30. He was bred by H. S. Butler, Denison, Iowa, is a beautiful dark bay, fifteen hands and three inches high, weighs 1050 pounds, well made, in fact, one of the best stallions in the west. Mr. Isham is enterprising and deserving of the success he is meeting with.
