ATTORNEYS-AT-LAW.--This law firm is composed of R. C. Carpenter and Wm. Wonn, with office rooms in the court house. The senior member of this firm is a man of wide business experience, coupled with a thorough knowledge of the law and has learned by experience its business application. He has resided and practiced his profession in Audubon county for the past 14 years, which makes his business acquaintances in Audubon and adjoining counties very extensive. In the fall of 1890 he was elected county attorney, a position which he now holds. This firm through their tireless energies enjoys a practice second to none in the county, extending through this and adjoining counties, and their reputation for honesty with their clients and untiring application to business gathers for them a wide and extended practice. Special attention given to the settling of estates, and also to collections, both foreign and local. This firm has learned that the success of a business life is prompt attention to all matters entrusted to their care. They are also connected with some of the ablest financial institutions of the state in the negotiating of loans upon real estate securities, making them at all times able upon short notice to supply large or small loans upon approved security to their customers. They also pay attention to non-residents, the payment of taxes and investments of all kinds in which they have succeeded in giving satisfaction. They have on hand some good farms for sale and city property.
