Red Cross quilt sold at auction at St. John's Lutheran Church, June 11, 1918. Red Cross Picnic. Brought $488.28.

St. John's Lutheran Church is located on the border of Audubon and Guthrie counties, drawing members from both counties. The original church building, pictured above, was in Audubon County (Audubon Township), along with the cemetery. When a new church building was erected in 1927, it was built across the road in Guthrie County. The cemetery remains in Audubon County.
